I have to say that I like this book very much, and this is coming from a guy who like to read only books related to business, economics, personal growth etc. I have to say that I'm 'hidden romantic' and that's the one of the reasons that I like this story of David and Kate; even though they been through a lot, everything ended well (yeahhh, I know it's a fiction, but who cares.) Another reason is that, as a 28 yeas old, I find more attractive women's in their thirties that the ones who are younger than me.

I find this book very interesting that I was able to finish it within two days. It's a lovely story of single mom Kate who got divorced at her 40th birthday and the young hockey athlete named David who's 30 years old. He met her at the bar and asked her out, and everything went from there. So many complicated things has happened; just when you start tho think that they settled their problems, s.... (pardon my French) occurs. He leaves her after he finds out that shes 40, then he realizes that he's in love with Katie and that she's the one. Then after getting back together, David's ex girlfriend make newspaper to publish that she's engaged with him - Kate read that news and left him, not answering to her phone. Later she finds out that she's pregnant and while doesn't want to tell David the truth, her's sister and friends make her to tell him; and she does tell him and they get back together....

But if think that's the part when everything just goes the right way, you're wrong - the thing from that point just got complicated; but it doesn't seem fair to write about everything here, I suggest buying and reading the book.

I enjoyed the book very much, as a romance fan I do like to watch romantic movies, but when it comes to reading I like to focus more on books from which I gain knowledge to use in life (that's why I read only business related book.) But oddly enough, I did get some life lesson from this book when it comes to love and finding someone who cares for you and to whom you care for - getting through sh.... periods in life it hard doing it yourself, it's nice to have someone important by your side.

David Burke was a player both on an off the ice, not wanting to commit to a serious relationship just yet. So when his NHL team had an away game in California, while at their hotel, his teammates issued him a challenge…get the woman at the table in bed by the end of the night. He accepts and makes his move, but what he doesn’t expect was the move he make to be one that he will never forget.

You know the magically connection you hear or read about, that some couples have? Well there is definitely one between Kate and David. But can that magic actually overcome all the odds and every roadblock placed before them as they try and figure out exactly what they want.

This book is incredible, it is beyond incredible, it is an original, realistic, breath taking, heart stopping, don’t want to put it down until I get to the last page which means I will threw food at the kids and lock my door just so I can get to the end book! It has the twists and turns, ups and downs, hate and romance that we can only dream about happening in our lives. This is by far the best book I have read in a very long time and will definitely be recommending it to everyone I know or don’t know. Jeannie Moon hit this one not just out of the park but out of the country! Now if only the story was really finished......
What a great read. The storyline was written well and although some touchy, sad and even horrible subjects were within, the author injected them with care and sensitivity. I love stories that have some type of taboo or socially unacceptable viewpoints either inflicted by others or by the lead characters themselves. Reading how they overcome and flourish as their character develops is what makes them more real, especially when romance and love are involved. This story covered the family dynamics and different types of relationships in its entirety and was it ever a ride. There were times I wanted to slap like a mad woman at one particular character and kept thinking he was let off the hook too many times, but it all worked out. Thank goodness because I didn't want to read about this angst anymore, just wanted to call the police and attorney myself already, but the ending needed to be there. Again this books has all the feels and you won't be disappointed.
