“Sure. Let’s do it,” Jasper said as he turned the key and shut off the car and Grey’s eyes were wide.
“What?” He said and Jasper shrugged then unbuckled his belt.
“You’re never going to let this go,” he said. “It’s going to get gross if we’re sixty and you’re still asking if you can send me dick pics,” he added and Grey blinked back at him.
“You’re serious?” His voice cracked and Jasper saw him tremble. He has to be the one who backs down. Jasper gave him a pointed look then pushed his door open and stepped out. And if he doesn’t? He cleared his throat loudly and the passenger door opened a moment later. Grey stood and he looked confused but he nodded then turned toward the apartment. What if he doesn’t? Jasper’s cheeks puffed out as he followed Grey.
Not once in the entire history of Jasper’s sexual consciousness did he entertain the possibility of doing anything with Grey. Not because he wasn’t attractive. It just never crossed Jasper’s mind. Grey pushed the lobby door open and Jasper’s head tilted as he watched the muscles beneath his shirt stretch and bunch before his eyes settled on his ass. Jasper’s lips tilted. He’d seen that ass plenty of times for various innocuous and obnoxious reasons and his jaw twinged. Grey did have a really nice ass. His nerves flickered with anticipation as they waited for the elevator and his brows rose as Grey smiled nervously. It was a massively stupid idea and the consequences would probably be terrible. He’s the only one who can stop this. Jasper waved Grey into the elevator and stood next to him as the doors closed.
“You good?” He asked as he studied Grey and he nodded faintly.
“Yeah. I didn’t think about what I’d do if you actually said yes,” he admitted and Jasper grinned.
“I didn’t think you’d wear me down. I definitely wasn’t planning this,” he said then winced as he pushed his hands into his pockets. “Do you have any condoms?” He asked and Grey jumped then nodded.
“In the medicine cabinet in the bathroom,” he said and Jasper grinned.
“Great,” he said as the doors opened and Jasper waited then followed Grey out and down the hall to his door. He unlocked it and bit his lip as he looked back at Jasper.
“Condoms?” He asked, emphasizing the plural and Jasper’s lips tilted wickedly as he leaned close and pressed his hand against the wall, next to Grey’s shoulder. I’ll either scare him so bad he never mentions it again or I’m about to screw his brains out.
“You pulled my ass out of bed in the middle of the night and you’ve been annoying as hell about this for like fifteen years. If you think I’m knocking this out once and calling it a night, you’re seriously mistaken,” he said and Grey did his best to plaster himself against the door.
“I thought I was going to…” His voice trailed off and he swallowed hard as Jasper’s head tilted. He brushed his lips against Grey’s ear and panted. Grey shivered and his nostrils flared as Jasper hummed then inhaled. He could smell Grey’s soap and cologne and the heat coming off of him.
“I’m not a bottom,” he breathed and Grey tried to speak but there was just a high pitched squeak. He squeezed his eyes shut and cleared his throat.
“I don’t think I am ei…” He froze as Jasper’s tongue traced his ear.
“You will be,” he promised.

I freakin love these guys!!!2 best friends (since kindergarten). One gay, one straight. And the straight one has a straight/married brother who rounds out their life-long "inner circle" . They all coach 2 different baseball teams together. Absolutely the guys who grew up down the streer. Well, the 2 main characters are so close and such good friends, they decide to mess around - just for fun.....no problem.....well, Much complication ensues.
2 thirtysomethings trying to figure out "grown-up" stuff
Heartbreaking-funny as hell-beautiful-laugh out loud-wipe away the tears awesome!
.....oh yeah, hot as freaking hell!!! ....and, HEA

This was a great read! The characters were fun and different. Instead of skirting around the issue of straight friend/gay friend relationship, they just jump right in and figure it out later. I liked this idea and it was fun to read.
friends to lover, gay for you, all rolled into one amazing story. Greyson and Jasper have been friends for ever and Jasper finally takes "straight" Grey up on his offer of sex. and wow, the sex is off the charts! it's so much more than sex, it's family and friends and great story telling. a lot of story is told in this shorter read. i'm not really sure how K. Sterling does it. I laughed and almost cried. They are my new fave couple.
I stand corrected! It is not a comic. This was good, I like it. Usually I don't like to read friends to lovers stories. I'm kind of skeptical that for years you have seen and be around someone, feels nothing and them wham love? But Grey and Jasper have been at it for years with their flirting and innuendos. You can see that these two have loved each other for years it just took mind blowing sex for them to fall in love.
I've always been a believer that writing books that deal with the "friends to lovers" topic is hard to write well. No so for the talented K. Sterling. This books was funny, incredibly sexy hot and more realistic than most. I loved the dynamic between Jasper and Grey. These two men had been friends a long time, one being straight and the other out and proud. It worked. I won't get into any more detail because then there will be spoilers.
You'll just have to read this wonderful book on your own. This isn't a long book so it's a quick and delightful read. As I have stated in other reviews for this author, K. Sterling is an immediate 1-click for me. I highly recommend this book.......but just so you know? You'll never look at superheroes the same way again LOL
First the cover caught my eye. Then the author's name because I have been blown away by K. Sterling books. I'm so glad I clicked on this one!
Jasper (called J. most of the book) and Greyson (Grey) have been friends literally forever. Grey's brother is Jasper's best friend, but so is Grey. The innuendo and flirting has been a thing for probably 15 years with these guys....one day J. call's Grey's bluff and the physical attraction turns explosive. They have the most comfortable, loving relationship and the sex is incredibly hot. J. thinks it will be a one-off but Grey can't get him out of his head. Things continue...for months. Eventually, reality intrudes and Grey has to face the fact that, although he isn't gay, he can't live without J. The pain that J. experiences when trying to figure out how to give up Grey the lover but keep Grey the best friend is palpable. My heart literally ached for this character.
I completely enjoyed this friends-to-lovers story which has a fantastic HEA epilogue. Loved it!
This is ABSOLUTELY your best book yet! I love all your books, and your an auto buy author for me. But, this book is amazing!
I'm new to this author, but the books that I've read are really good. The chemistry between these characters are outstanding and I really look forward to reading the next book.
