This book is not really a sequel, but a second half of the original. While the first on starts out slow to build the narrative, this one is more full of action and adventure. It reminds me a little bit of the Mysterious Island mixed with another Jules Verne book, which is called something like An Antarctic Adventure. While the first was a bit hard to understand and keep up with the different characters, this one only had a small handful and was more personal.Product details

A free book so much better then the trash you actually have to pay for, hail to the volunteers . Fin
Verne is one of my favorite authors. Having many of his books on kindle has been great to remember my days of youth!
Not Jules Verne's best. A little slow and the English explorers he portrays are a little annoying. Good speculative fiction for the period.
This is part two of what happens with Captain hatteras during his competitive quest against America for the North Pole.
